Scenes from a market:
If memory serves, the ones one the faaaar right are Whybark’s famous 1,000-year-old eggs.
Alas, haven't had proper time to find 'em locally yet.
when are you coming back?
I've tried those preserved eggs, courtesy of a venerable Chinese woman, and although the eggs' appearance is arresting, I deem them quite delicious!
Oh God, how i hated those 1,000 year eggs!
My ex would buy them daily and have 'em with lunch or dinner. I can still smell them now, three years later. Granted, they were better than chicken testicles or congealed pigs blood but still not as good as street noodles.
