One thing you can say about this blog is that it definitely isn't as timely as some of its blogfellows.... Read More

Well it looks like Blogger Bash 2003 went off, although not without a few glitches. Although to Pauls Frankensteins credit, they really had little to do with his planning and everything to do with a pissy bar staff at AZ. Check out the reviews Read More

what a nice group! siberia tunred out to be the perfect venue. and that japanese band peelander-z totally rocked out. an awesome evening had by all! (and..hahahha....that other pic you took of me was cuter i think, i look like a deer in the headlights in that one!)

Thanks to you and zeebah for introducing me around and helping me dip my toe into the warm, tingling baths of the blogosphere.

Also: Glad to see one of those jukebox pics made the page...

dude, you gotta link for the googlebomb to work.

i'm just sayin'.

Paul, thanks for organizing this. Please keep me in the loop for the next one. I'll definitely stay longer now that I know how cool everyone is!!!

Okay I have no idea what the heck I'm doing in that picture...or to what song....definitely not from teh How Gay Can We Get? Music Block

Brian, the only think you did that night was BE FABULOUS. So that's probably what you were doing in that picture as well. Just IMHO.

Sorry I didn't get to meet more people, but my girlfriend and I arrived just as AZ was kicking y'all out (and I have a deep and visceral loathing of Siberia, so I didn't follow you there.)

Maybe next time around, eh?

It's nice to know the bloggers aren't all fashion models...as I always get the impression from blogger and diarist self descriptions (males excepted) that they're top of the line gorgeous. Above and beyond ordinary. The curly redhead is striking, and the Gothamist is handsome... and I thought I recognized Oblivio - who is also handsome. :)

Hey Paul, that guy in the picture with me, looking over his shoulder at you, what's his site?

Looks like you guys closed the place down:

"AZ, the elaborate multilevel Asian restaurant at 21 West 17th Street, has closed. The original chef, PATRICIA YEO, left last summer, and the owner, JIMMY HABER, plans to renovate the place and reopen it with a different focus."
