Well, that went over like a lead balloon....
Anyway, two from the weekend:
- A retired Lt. Colonel's view of the Bush administration's war process from the inside: "I suggested to my boss that if this was as good as it got, some folks on the Pentagon's E-ring may be sitting beside Saddam Hussein in the war crimes tribunals." (via Off The Kuff, the man who proves that there are liberals in Texas)
- Oh, that wacky Falwell fella! "Tiffany and Kyle grew up in church. Their youth pastor warned against premarital sex, but they knew what was best for them; after all, their movies, television and music advocated it. So one night after youth group, they had sex for the first time. It was satisfying for neither; Tiffany felt horrible and Kyle was mad because she let it happen. In the years that followed, both turned away from Christ, Tiffany to drugs and prostitution, Kyle to atheism and promiscuity." Good God! Atheism! Next thing you know, he'll be eating French cheeses and consorting with dark-skinned types! (from the ever-industrious Buzzmachine)
- TypePad Features and Pricing. I gotta say that I'm impressed. It's not a replacement for the much-reviled BlogSpot (Blogspot's free and TypePad ain't), but for people looking for an upgrade, or folks who want to play with MT but don't want to put up with the hassles of installing MT (or designing their own code), it really looks like a big winner. Let's put it this way -- if I didn't already have pf.org, I'd be sorely tempted. (link via, well everyone)
Hey wise one -- given that I now believe the five most frightening letters in the English letters to be M, Y, S, Q, and L, d'you think I should renege on Hosting Matters and switch to this?
