On The Profound Unfairness of Life

So would somebody explain to me why I never end up at parties like this?

(I will admit that this sort of thing is usually the other Paul's bailiwick (whom, incidentally, is celebrating his 30th birthday today), but hey, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do...)
