One of the problems with writing about Paris is that I want to go back there right now.

Enough of this unemployment (which is finally starting to stress me out) and enough of this feeling old and tired and grumpy all the time.

I want to wander the shores of the Seine, to drink bitter black coffee with a little foam on the top and a lemon rind, to return once more to the city of light and feel free.

Anyone want to spot me airfare?

Your blog is tres aesthetically pleasing! Am enjoying the novel also...would send you the airfare but am also struggling penniless writer (isn't everyone?)

ah monsieur peut-être vous devez considérer étudier français pendant que vous errez les rues de new york, pour que la prochaine fois vous êtes en france vous pouvez parler comme un compatriote

que pense vous?

je la marque aussi.

What about the Paris hotel in vegas? That's a kind of Vegas...

Hmm.... but I'm sure that after I make my way to the tables that the trip would turn out to be somewhat more expensive than a trip to the real thing....

Don't stress too much about the unemployment gig. As a friend of The Fish always says, "It could be worse. You could be on fire."

Words of wisdom, if there were ever! Really, being on fire would suck.

Indeed.

And being on fire is terrible for the complexion (or so I've heard).

Nevermind all that. When you figure out how to get over to Paris without any money, sell the secret to the rest of us, and you can drink all the {lovely, dark, bitter, aromatic, tasty, tasty} coffee you want, with or without lemon rind for a very long time...

I went to Paris for free. My mother paid. Only catch is, I had to go with my mother. See the problem?

Heh. There is no free lunch.

dude - the tickets are cheap. i just went via the UK and my airfare was $200 - $300 direct to paris. and if not don't be too sad. it's rainy and damp there well into march and everyone's *still* got a bad attitude...

Yeah, but that's $200 I don't have right now.

I either have money and no time or time and no money.

I'd really like to have lots of money and lots of time simultaneously. Don't think that's going to happen any time soon, though...
